Stephen's Interview

Inspired by nature, Lilly Henry became an avid collector of pebbles, flints, and gnarled wood; finding a life force within them that fascinated her. She has developed her individual freedom to explore the realms of creativity and playfulness from her inner self, experimenting in various mediums including clay, wood, recycled metal and cement fondu.

Studying with one of Henry Moore’s technicians, Lilly went on a journey of discovery which led to her producing larger forms of her previously small maquettes into cold-cast bronze resin sculptures. Many of her large sculptures have been sold worldwide to private collectors and are exhibited in both private and public sculpture gardens and galleries. Lilly is Buckinghamshire-based and partakes in group shows and solo exhibitions around the UK, including Kew Gardens, RHS Wisely and Ashridge House.
